Brian was predeceased by his parents Gordon and Olive Russell.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra, sons Robert and Curtis, grandchildren Eric and Olivia, his brother Barry (Kathy) and his sister Debbie (Wayne). He is also survived by his long-time partner and friend, Pauline Otchenash.
Brian worked as an administrator at the lab at St. Boniface Hospital for 30 years.
After his retirement in 2007, Brian loved to travel, especially to Banff and Jasper. He also loved to feed the birds. He enjoyed many dinners at the Salisbury House.
Cremation has taken place. Interment of the ashes will take place on Wednesday, May 6, at 3:30 p.m. in the Serenity Garden at Chapel Lawn.
